National Housing Market Shortages

The market has changed since the end of last summer. It's still a "Seller's market" in most DFW Metroplex cities with less than six months of inventory. However, Buyers have more options for new and preowned houses.

June is traditionally the hottest buying month of the year with most of those closings happening in July. Parents need to pick a house soon if they want their kids in a specific school district before the new school year starts.
